Vision is a specialist development and contract manufacture company. We provide technical assistance with developmental issues for a broad range of rapid membrane based assays. We manufacture and provide completed OEM product, validated components, raw materials and key assembly reagents.
The Vision assays were developed specifically for the developing point of care market, and consequently high emphasis is placed on reliability in field conditions. This requires exceptional performance to ensure confidence in the results as well as robustness in difficult user conditions. Vision's assay technologies employ monoclonal antibodies and highly purified recombinant antigen pairs. Colloidal gold is preferentially used as the detection reagent in our lateral flow rapid tests since, when well prepared, gold particles produce highly stable conjugates with exceptional sensitivity and positive negative differential.
Vision have a team of very experienced development scientists and a dedicated, fully equipped laboratory. We also have manufacturing capability from signal reagent production all the way through to pouched product. Current capacities are growing rapidly, and are currently in excess of 1 million tests per month.
